And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. (Matthew 8:2-3)

What a hope and blessing!
A leper came, he knew about his leprosy. In fact, those all around him knew… Yet he drew closer to Jesus. Worshiping Him, he made his request known; “if you are willing, You can make me clean“. With these words, the leprous man acknowledged his state and made a plea for salvation. Jesus hearing his request quickly answered, “I am willing“. What blessed words to hear. But Jesus went further… He touched him. Our sin cannot defile Christ, but He in His mercy can cleanse us of a leprous and evil heart. Although you yourself know your own evilness, although those around you know… you can still come as you are to Him with your request; to be cleansed and to be cured from a leprous heart
What blessed words to hear; “I am willing; be cleansed“. Would you be willing to come to Him?
