Behold His Eye

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine. (Ps 33:18-19)

Within this portion we learn about God’s expectancy in looking for those who hope in Him. It is clear that He wants to deliver a soul from death, if that person fears Him and hopes in Him. Such a person, God can sustain even in a famine. Knowing God, brings about a reverent fear for who He is. Knowing Christ brings hope for salvation. As His eyes search through the world, may He find such a person in you.
