Walk In The Light

“Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” John 12:35-36

These words of Christ encourage us to walk while we have the light. In our spiritual walk with God, there is no time to slumber while we have the light. If we dare be distracted by the things that are important in this world, and slumber spiritually, we might find ourselves being overtaken by darkness. God’s Word brings us clarity, it is a lamp for our path. If we hear Him speaking we need to act and walk accordingly. Only good intentions will not bring us far, for darkness may overtake us while delaying to act on His guidance.
