If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. (1 John 1:10)
Within these words of John, he shows us the path of humbleness. Obstinance and pride is the door that shuts us from Him. Humbleness and honesty on the other hand provides a way to meet Christ in truth and to be cleansed.
