For You, O Lord, will bless the rigteousness; With favor You will surround him as with a shield ( Ps 5:12)
God is looking for righteousness. The righteousness that only Jesus can give through His blood. To obtain this rigteousness one needs to pass by the cross of Christ and be forgiven. Then only favor will surround you as a shield.
