I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the covation by which you are called. Will all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endevoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Eph 4:1-3)
Paul speaks within this text to the early Christians. They need to walk in a worthy manner. This worthy manner however is quite opposite than that of the world. God desires of his children lowliness, meekness and longsuffering. A readyness ot forgive others and bear with one another. God’s love spilled out in a heart makes such a life possible. A life where unity of the Spirit is kept through a bond of peace.
