One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. (Ps 27:4)
Mankind persue many things. We tire ourselves chasing after honour, position, material things etc. Yet, before David was one thing only; to dwell in God’s house all the days of his life and to behold God’s beauty. It is when we are His living stones in His temple that we can see God, for the pure in heart will see God.
