When God Is Well Pleased

LORD, who shall abide in your tabernacle? who shall dwell in your holy hill? He that walks uprightly, and works rigteousness, and speak the truth in his heart. (Ps 15:1-2)

Within this portion, David provides us with insight into being a man after God’s own heart. For us to be able to continiously dwell with God whether in his tabernacle or on his holy hill requires something. Such a person needs to

  • walk uprightly
  • works rigteousness
  • and speaks the truth in his heart.

What draws our attention is the importance of not only speaking the truth with our words and deeds, but also within our own hearts. This requires honesty and a love for the Truth.
