I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress. (Ps 17:3)
Job purposed that his eyes will not look at a woman lustfully. Within this text, David purposed that he will not say anything wicked. If our eyes are bad, then we perceive things wrongly, make our own judgments and state our own verdict. Within in this sequence of events, horrable mistakes can be make. We might judge a dear brother or sister in Christ, not knowing that we are mistaken. Is there a hurt deeper than being falsely condemned by Christian brothers and sisters? Yet in all this, Job did not sin. Let we be slow to speak, slow to anger, but always pleading on behalf of the believers for each other at the foot of the cross.
