But He said to them, “You give them something to eat.” (Luke 9:22)
The disciples were in a despirate situation. The crowds have converged on them, and they did not have anything for them to eat. The wanted to send them away… Yet, Christ taught them to feed them. The disciples gathered what they could and brought it to Jesus. Jesus blessed it, and everyone was filled. Likewise, we can bring that what we have, our time, energy, talents… and ask Him to bless it, so that we may feed and refresh those around us.
