Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matt 19:23-26)

Within these words of Jesus we read about difficulties rich people will have to enter into His kingdom. This does not imply merely finances. It goes much deeper than only your pocket. Jesus directed these words to those that think they are rich in themselves and not lacking anything. The difficulty lies not in their richness, but in that they don’t see a need to ask God for His saving grace. Upon hearing these words of Jesus his disciples were amazed and realized that none can be saved. Then Jesus supplied the answer… “what is impossible for men, is possible for God.”
Friend have you got to the place in your life where you have realized this truth. For us it is impossible, but not for Him. Have you asked Him to make it possible also for you?
