Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit. (Psalm 32-1-2)
A Word for Today: 10 June 2020
This portion of today embodies the secret for obtaining God’s blessing. God bestows His rich blessings on the one that has diligently searched for Him, and have found Him. Such a person is the one who as Jacob has wrestled with God, so as to be on His side, and have been overcome by Him. It is the one who knows that his sin is covered, and does not need to cover up anything. There is therefore no deceit remaining in such a person. It is a transparent live radiant with God’s light. If there is no such light, then there is an object that obscures the light. These objects are sin in our lives. However, as soon as it has been brought to the cross (confessed), and the soul has been cleansed, God’s glory becomes evident in a person’s life.
