But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand. (Is 64:8)
within this portion, Isaiah reminds us of our position – mere clay in the hand of our heavenly Father. We cannot command the Potter what to do, as he does as he seems fit to the clay. We might not understand, but He knows, and because He knows we can be at peace if we have yielded our all into His hands.
