If you wee Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from Bod. Abraham did not do this. You do the deeds of your father. (John 8:39)
Jesus spoke these words to the Pharasees and Scribes. Although outwardly they had the form of godliness, they lacked life. Jesus came and spoke the truth, and they persecuted him. They had the form, but not the right spirit. When we meet up with truth… how will we respond? Persecute the followers of the Truth?
