Come now, and let us reason together, Says the LORD, Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white a snow; THough they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword, For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. (Is 1:18-20)
These words captures the Father’s heart. Maybe something is holding you away from God. But here we find an invitation…. an invitation to reason with God… He invites all to draw near… there is mercy to be found. Although your sins, are as red as can be, He is able to cleanse you. You can draw close to Him and tell Him of your sin and find forgiveness. Yet the opposite is also true, should you turn away from Him… spiritual death awaits you.
