If you have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, boast not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. (Jam 3:14)
This verse makes it very clear; envy and strife belong to satan and his kingdom of darkness. Within these few words we hear God charging his children against boasting and lies. Boastings and lies often work together deeds of darkness. Truth brings always light, and light brings Truth. The breastplate of truth is of great value in our spiritual walk and warfare.
